CELEBRATE WORLD SIGHT DAY WITH BLANKSTONE

Thursday October 11th is World Sight Day, and here at Blankstone Opticians we’re getting really excited! Find out more and help us to make it the best one yet!

This year we’re running a joint event with Vision4Children. Based at Alder Hey children’s hospital, Vision4Children are the only charity dedicated to tackling childhood blindness. The event is going to be based at a city centre venue, to be confirmed. Stay tuned for more details!

We’re also giving you the chance to get an extra £20 off your purchases, when you donate a pair of old spectacles. Help to develop sustainable vision care services in communities that have little or no access to eye care, by donating your old spectacles AND save yourself some money into the bargain.

Last year we managed to collect hundreds of glasses, and we’d love to be able to beat that total. Come in store and bring your old frames with you, and help us celebrate World Sight Day on the 11th of October!

I visited Blankstones as I was new to the area and after doing some careful research I booked in for a test and to choose some new frames. I ended up choosing a couple of pairs from the Oliver Goldsmith range which were beautiful and a week later my wife decided to get herself a pair also. Mark and the team are highly professional.
